Patios!

During the week of May 13th, Cordoba has its annual Patio festival. The Patio festival is when people open up their private homes to showcase their beautiful patios. These patios are about 50 x 100 feet  and are covered in flowers, plants, fountains, and moss. There is a contest but most people do not care for it, they just want people to see the patios that they have to show. In between seeing different patios, we went to see the smallest plaza in the world, this plaza is only 15 square meters! Our whole class could not fit into this tiny plaza. This plaza was originally owned my a family, then when the father died, the plaza was divided into 4 pieces, one for each child.



Durante la semana del 13 de mayo, Córdoba tiene su festival anual de Patio. El festival del Patio es cuando las personas abren sus casas privadas para mostrar sus hermosos patios. Estos patios miden aproximadamente 50 x 100 pies y están cubiertos de flores, plantas, fuentes y musgo. Hay un concurso, pero a la mayoría de las personas no les interesa, solo quieren que la gente vea los patios que tienen que mostrar. Entre ver diferentes patios, fuimos a ver la plaza más pequeña del mundo, ¡esta plaza tiene solo 15 metros cuadrados! Nuestra clase entera no cabía en esta pequeña plaza. Esta plaza fue originalmente propiedad de mi familia, luego, cuando el padre murió, la plaza se dividió en 4 partes, una para cada niño.
